Hot and spicy winter punch

A hot pleasure based on Indian chai. Garam masala, an exotic spice mix, adds a hint of christmas.

  1. Boil water tenderly with garam masala for 5 minutes.
  2. Remove the spices from the now spiced hot water. You may, for example, use a regular coffee filter.
  3. Add milk, rum, honey and tea bags.
  4. Heat and stir gently until nice and hot. At this stage, do not let the punch boil.
  5. Remove tea bags and pour the hot drink to mugs or glasses.
